The Love of David and Jonathan
Some consider the story of David and Jonathan to be the most romantic and profound love story in the Bible (and, I suppose by virtue, the Tanakh). It is found in 1 Samuel, and sorrowfully ends in the beginning of 2 Samuel. It has been interpreted, by theologians as well as others, as being romantic or erotic in nature. Others, including theologians, will swear up and down that they werent gay just friends. Some arguments they use are the verse 2 Samuel 1:26, Davids multiple wives and, sometimes, mere homophobic arguments presumed to be supported by the Bible.

Yell at her?
Tell her she's a sinner?
No.
This old man doesn't know.

Slowly dying inside knowing she doesn't fit in,
Knowing this church doesn't accept her orientation, the love of her life.
